Who Is Timothy Banks?
A
Working Artist.Like his ancestor, Davy Crockett, Tim was born on
a mountaintop in Asheville, North Carolina. Picking up
a crayon at the tender age of three – he never looked back.
He’s now a professional artist that draws and paints pictures
for books, magazines and pretty much anything cool. Project
breakdown: Recently selected by Nike to illustrate a lazy hare
and fast tortoise tshirt for their Running Division. Created
an entire children’s book for Caribou Coffee. Researched and
painted a reader for McGraw-Hill about a beaver growing
up and leaving his family. Depicted a young boy and his dog
fishing in a short story that was published by MacMillan UK.
Conceptually sketched a van and drug-addled sports equipment
for Adult Swim (their idea).
Leaving the mountains behind, Tim now spends his days being inspired by the sea and palm trees in Charleston, South Carolina. He’s looking forward to spending sometime with your project.
